The photograph of the beautiful knitted hats and scarves were made by my lovely daughter-in-law Erin. These handmade gifts were not made for family, friends, or coworkers, but for the homeless-those who are truly in need. Erin is a middle school special education teacher, and despite a busy work schedule, training for the Pittsburgh Marathon, and moving into a new home, she made time in her evenings to whip up some warmth for those who live in the cold.
“The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
